Reading

Reading sections are from the Introductory Statistics Textbook

Lesson

Two events are Mutually Exclusive if they cannot occur at the same time. When this happens,

\[P(A~AND~B) = 0\]

When this occurs, the equation for the “OR” probability is,

\[P(A~OR~B) = P(A) + P(B)\]
